International Food Fest, or “IFF,” is one of the many beloved traditions at St. Agnes. This tradition, in particular, is a special day in February that celebrates the diverse cultures of our community through sharing food in a grand luncheon.

The event is hosted by St. Agnes’ Diversity Club and the Office of Community Culture, who work together to plan this day filled with the sharing of food and friends. Learn more about why our version of International Food Festival 2025 is such an integral part of the school culture.

Getting Involved in International Food Fest (IFF)

Every year, IFF relies on families and students to help celebrate our school’s diversity through food. Students, parents, and families are encouraged to sign up to bring food and volunteer each year beginning in January.

When IFF finally rolls around at the end of February, students and parent volunteers come together to set up for the event and organize stacked platters of food. As a result, IFF boasts cuisine from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and North America!

And, of course, no meal would be complete without dessert. Our volunteers contribute greatly to our dessert table with delightful treats like baklava, Tres leches, and more delicious items.

During this year’s edition, per usual, students lined up around the Old Gym, waiting with anticipation for the doors to open. When it was all said and done, our students, faculty, and parent volunteers walked away from lunch satisfied, full, and more culturally aware.

International Food Fest was another great success, with luncheon tables filled to the brim with delicious food and desserts that everyone had a chance to partake in.

International Food Festival: See You Next Year!

IFF is made possible every year because of the contributions from parent and student volunteers. We appreciate their support in making each year’s international food festival a success at St. Agnes.

We are already looking forward to next year’s IFF and cannot wait to continue this rich tradition of celebrating our school’s diversity. We cannot wait to see you next year as we strive to display the rich diversity of our school.
