Alumnae

Welcome

As a St. Agnes Academy graduate, you are an important part of a network of over 10,000 alumnae. Below are some of the ways you can connect with the alumnae community!

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

REUNION
The annual St. Agnes reunion is held on the last Saturday of September. The event honors classes celebrating milestone reunion years (five years, ten years, 20 years, etc.), but all alumnae are invited. The reunion consists of Mass, presentation of the Alumnae awards, and a celebration with wine, light snacks, and campus tours.

THE FANNIN STREET LUNCHEON
This luncheon, held on the first Thursday in June, is for our alumnae who attended the Fannin Street campus.

THE LEGACY LUNCHEON
This is an annual luncheon held on campus for current students and their alumnae mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, or other alumnae relatives.

CO-ED SUMMER HAPPY HOUR
Each summer, we host a happy hour to unite Catholic school alumni from St. Agnes Academy, Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, St. Pius X High School, St. Thomas High School, Incarnate Word Academy, Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, St. John XXIII College Preparatory, Frassati Catholic High School, and Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory.

CAREER DAY
Career Day is held every two years. Alumnae speak on panels that cover a broad range of career fields. There are generally five panels ranging from a creative fields panel (encompassing careers in design, architecture, writing, communication, marketing, and public relations) to a business and financial panel (sales, management, consulting, accounting, human resources, banking, and finance.) There are also panels in the fields of healthcare, law, education, and STEM. Each panel has five to 10 speakers.

THE ALUMNAE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (SAA-AMP)
SAA-AMP connects students with alumnae who share similar interests. Through this program, mentors guide students in navigating their future college and professional paths. Mentors offer valuable advice and insights that help shape students’ career decisions, discussing not only their specific career interests but also broader topics such as skill development, collaboration in professional settings, maintaining work-life balance, understanding workplace cultures, and making strategic decisions for a successful and fulfilling career.

THE ALUMNAE BOARD
The St. Agnes Academy Alumnae Board (founded in 1995) is committed to advancing relationships among alumnae and involving them in the St. Agnes mission and community. Alumnae Board members serve a three-year term and meet four times a year to help plan events. Board members volunteer at alumnae events and help promote and participate in Giving Day.
