Teacher Appreciation Week 2026: Honoring Our Academic Leaders

As Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 comes to a close, St. Agnes Academy is reflecting with gratitude on the educators who make our community so special.

At St. Agnes, teachers are more than instructors. They are mentors, role models, coaches, advisors, and faith leaders who walk alongside students during some of the most important years of their lives. They encourage curiosity, inspire confidence, and help students discover who they are called to become. 

Throughout the week, students, families, and faculty took time to celebrate the teachers who go far beyond the classroom each day. See why it was important to recognize our educators this year!

The impact of a great teacher extends far beyond academics. While students certainly benefit from a rigorous college-preparatory education, the relationships built between teachers and students often leave the greatest impression.

Whether leading classroom discussions, accompanying students on retreats, or simply offering words of encouragement between classes, faculty members model compassion, integrity, and service. Their work reflects the mission of St. Agnes and the belief that education is about forming the whole person.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, students and families found many ways to thank faculty members for their dedication. From handwritten notes and treats in the faculty lounge to special events and celebrations, the week served as a reminder of how valued teachers are within the St. Agnes community. 

Messages of gratitude were also shared across social media, where students, alumnae, and parents reflected on the lasting impact St. Agnes teachers have had on their lives.  

Behind every strong school community is a team of leaders who support both students and faculty. At St. Agnes, administrators work closely with teachers to foster an environment where collaboration, innovation, and faith can thrive.

Although Teacher Day and Teacher Appreciation Week have passed, gratitude for the St. Agnes faculty continues throughout the year. Their commitment to students, families, and the mission of the Academy is woven into every part of campus life.
